Forgot to post for the last couple of months, and things have been busy again with the day job, projects, and and freelance work.
Work
So other than a few niggles still being worked out, work has been good as we progress with with adding new features, which means for me learning how to use Step Functions in AWS. Also we are futher proving we need the AWS Powertools approach for APIs, in particular the use of Pydantic which can also be used else where to really toughen up validation of payloads and documents. Plus the use of elasticache, which helped to stabilize the system the other day when we had issues on production. I've also started diving into how we might use machine learning, natural language processing and AI for a particular use case (it's not GenAI however!).
Freelance
Right now Trashumanism trundles along as we get the product ready for print, and I have signed up for Dragonmeet at the end of November to run a demo of the game.
Meanwhile, for Cubicle 7 various bits of work are out, or coming out. Perhaps the biggest release was the Old World RPG, which I spoke about last time, but since then there are plenty of reviews out for it, and the first episode of a series for this game is out for which I am the GM.
Also coming out soon for Wrath and Glory is Sons of Russ, a players guide or Space Wolf Space Marines, which was a small project to work on - plus I am working on another book for this game that is yet to be announced.
Also out to backers, and on preorder is Strangelight Workshop, for Iron Kingdoms, something I am keen to run for a stream.
Hobby
The last couple of months has seen me paint quite a few things for Warmachine. In time for Peachcon (which was a lot of fun where I ran a good number of Warmachine demons), I got the Old Umbrey starter painted, and the free mini for the app subscription.

Plus, at Peachcon for the 2nd year running, I won Bronze for best painted single mini, for my Kingdom Death Flower Knight.

Now this month I have a demo day I am running for wargamer influencers, where I will be showing them how to play Warmachine, and thanks to Dark Fantastic Mills I have extra terrain for these games.

And thanks to SFG I got sent the upcoming new 2 player set for Warmachine - Frozen and Forgotten, and I have painted the Orgoth, while Marc will paint the Nyss Elves.

OK let's wrap up with various media that I have recorded recently.
